13-51　From the Republic of Uzbekistan
　A state policeman stopped a woman for exceeding the speed limit on the highway.
He asked the driver her name.
She said, "I'm Mrs. Chadivaler Zuminskagia Ragretumunga from the Republic of Uzbekistan visiting my daughter in Columbia."
As she finished speaking, the cop paused for a moment and then put away his notebook and pen.
Then he said, "Well... OK... but don't let me catch you speeding again."

　州警察官が、高速道路をスピード違反で走っている女性ドライバーの車を停めさせた。
警官が彼女の名前を聞くと、「私はミセス・チャディヴァレ・ズミンスカギア・ラグレタムンガ。コロンビア州に住む娘を訪ねて、ウズベキスタン共和国から来ました」と答えた。
彼女が喋り終わると、警官はしばし考えてから取り出した手帳とペンをしまい、「エーッと、わかりました。今日は見逃しましょう。でも頼むからまたスピード違反で、私の手を煩わすことをしないでくださいね」

警官はこの外国人名がチンプンカンプンで、メモすることが出来ないので面倒臭くなって放免したのです。
